John and I took a walk last night around 1 a.m.. It was nice. There were no cars or other people out, just us. There's about 6 inches of snowfall on the ground, so that was an adventure. We made snowangels as we were coming back to the house, which I in turn made into my LJ background. Every moment in life is just another opportunity for a LiveJournal post.
Hola, me llamo Emily. I do not know much spanish at all, despite the five years I took in junior and senior high school. Speaking of school, I finally graduated from college in 2007. I now have a Bachelor's in Writing and Linguistics and another Bachelor's in Education. At the moment, my degrees' main function is to sit in my desk drawer, though occasionally I get them out and look at them. Then I put them back in the drawer.
I live with five beautifully unusual cats named Pumpkin, Timmy, Sam, Fred and George. They are my heart and my life, and no (endless) amount of litter box cleaning will change that.

teffdogg) online in December of 1999, and a year later he packed up and travelled from Cape Cod to Omaha to move in with me. I hate the word "boyfriend." John is also my heart and my life, and no (endless) amount of litter box cleaning will change that.
I like to drive far away and then come back a few days later all melancholy and wishing I was still gone. But then I go somewhere in Omaha where it's dark and smoky and loud with music, and darkness and smoke and sad folk singers root me in place again. Western plaid.
I tend to spot green Bax Global trucks every time I look out the window, and I consider this to be some sort of sign. Either that, or it's marketing at its best. Touché!
My world is not nearly as dramatic and tragic as I make it out to be in my journal, but sometimes it takes a little spice to stomach the flavor of life.
